Whilst the video above may cover a previous version of Da Vinci Resolve, the principles and process are the same between versions. The free version may house fewer features than the studio full version, but it is perfectly suited towards mobile and indie productions.
Whilst we won’t necessarily be using all of the features of Da Vinci Resolve for mobile productions, it is worthwhile trying to get your head around its interface alongside learning some of its shortcuts if intending to produce a lot of mobile and indie production pieces.
As with anything, having a clear and consistent file structure and process will make workflows smoother and collaboration easier.
